No Corn Please is committed to protecting your privacy. This extension is designed from the ground up to operate completely on-device without collecting, tracking, or transmitting your personal data.

1. Data Collection & Transmission

  • Zero Data Collected: We do not collect, log, or track your personal information, IP addresses, browsing history, or search queries.
  • Zero Off-Device Transmission: No Corn Please does NOT transmit any data over the internet to external servers, cloud databases, or third-party analytics services. Everything runs strictly inside your local browser.

2. Permissions & How They Are Used

No Corn Please requests only the minimal permissions required to function:

  • declarativeNetRequest: Used strictly by your local browser engine to block known adult domains and enforce SafeSearch on search engines at the network layer. No network traffic is recorded or sent anywhere.
  • storage: Used exclusively to store your personal urge counter and daily streak locally on your device (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your computer.
  • <all_urls> (Host Permissions): Required to inspect on-page meta rating tags (e.g., RTA 18+ tags) and age-verification gates across web pages in real-time. The content of pages is evaluated in memory and is never logged or saved.

3. Third-Party Services

No Corn Please does NOT use any third-party analytics, tracking scripts, advertising networks, or external APIs.

4. User Control & Data Deletion

All locally stored metrics (such as urges defeated and streaks) are stored in your browser’s local extension storage. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your extension data in Chrome or uninstalling the extension.
